July 24, 2007

Eight Processing Cores, now available in your Mac Pro. Looks like Apple’s store is now offering more options in regards to proccessing power. When customizing your Mac Pro online you can now choose from the following:

One or two Dual-Core Intel Xeons (Total of 4 cores) running at 2.0GHz, 2.66GHz, or 3.0GHz or

One or two Quad-Core Intel Xeons (Totalof 8 cores) running at 2.0GHz, 2.66GHz, or 3.0GHz

Now this is one powerful computer. You can customize it to have up to 3TB of storage, and 16GBs of RAM. And if you are so inclined, you can even get TWO of their 30inch HD cinama Screens for a pretty penny. So, if you have $17,000 to spend, you can get all of the above, and a little more.

PC, say hello to the new Mac.

Wow thats a lot of power for a computer of now. If I had $17000 then I would buy one but I would think that it would be a bit too fast, but still it would be a great computer to have
